The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for working with customers from initial quote to product delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction. This pivotal role involves working with customers on Tier 1 (catalog items) and Tier 2 (mixture of catalog items and custom manufactured goods) by quoting customers appropriately, sending proposals, and following up until the customer is ready to make the purchase. Over time, this individual will learn the products better and engage with customers in person through business meetings. The role requires strong experience in a CRM or similar system to stay organized and create plans to engage customers.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and follow up on catalog level sales quotations via email and phone.
+ Facilitate quick responses from engineering for customer’s technical questions.
+ Update and maintain CRM platform for accuracy.
+ Help prepare team for external meetings and assist in note-taking.
+ Build presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
+ Update and maintain company website to optimize website traffic.
+ Facilitate targeted email and LinkedIn campaigns.
+ Assist in content generation for website and LinkedIn.
+ Assist in tracking and reporting on marketing KPIs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically PowerPoint for presentations, Excel for reporting, and Outlook for daily emailing.
+ Experience with CRM systems.
+ Technical skills related to manufacturing and sales support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
+ Ability to wear many hats and work closely with customers.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Work Environment
The position is based in a manufacturing setting with a small to mid-size company experiencing rapid growth. Recently, the company expanded its engineering capabilities by purchasing a new building on the same street. The dress code is business casual, and the work schedule is from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The company offers generous holidays and one week of PTO, and boasts a very low attrition rate, with employees only leaving if they are moving or retiring.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $28.85/hr.
