Sales and Service Learning Specialist

What you will do

As the Sales and Service Learning Specialist, you will create, curate and facilitate VGA’s Sales and Service capability programs. Key to this role will be actively understanding customer needs, designing and developing initiatives, and delivering effective learning solutions that build the skills and abilities of Sales and Service individuals and teams across VGA.

 

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Needs assessment and consultation with stakeholders to assess commercial learning requirements across internal and partner teams Provide expert guidance to help stakeholders identify skill gaps and define measurable objectives Program design, development and/or curation of customized learning modules that are best practice, contemporary in their approach and incorporate adult learning methodologies Facilitate and deliver engaging, interactive sessions and workshops for sales and frontline teams, either face to face or virtually Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of learning initiatives through assessment, feedback, and performance metrics, as well as using data to refine strategies and demonstrate return on investment to clients Demonstrate commercial business knowledge (sales and service) and strong relationships within the business to integrate and align learning and development plans which achieve overall business objectives Provide expert advice on sales development, frontline learning strategies and workforce planning, ensuring solutions are future-focused and aligned with industry best practices Comfortable and confident in training facilitation and willingness to be accredited to deliver third party content Your future team

Reporting to the Manager – Capability and Development, you will work in a team of 7, alongside Competence Manager’s, Commercial Trainers and Learning Specialists. The Capability and Development team form part of the greater People and Culture team of 23, made up of HR Business Partner’s, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Performance & Reward. Your role will have a home base of our Wacol Head Office, with travel (as needed) to VGA’s various dealerships around Australia.

Who are you?

Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, Vocational Education and Training, Training Design and Development or similar (or equivalent work experience) Proven experience in sales, customer service or similar, with a strong understanding of both sales processes and service excellence Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles and facilitation A real passion for facilitation and delivery of training Strong organisational, interpersonal, commercial, technology and communication skills Demonstrated experience with accreditation frameworks and being comfortable with being accredited to deliver training as well as accrediting others to deliver.
