We are seeking a skilled and driven **Sales Application Engineer** to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the quotation process from start to finish, including application design, cost estimation, and technical support. This role is direct hire with good benefits. **Key Responsibilities** : + Develop and manage equipment quotations, including application design, shop fabrication, and field installation labor. + Coordinate all aspects of the quotation process, including: + Application engineering + Vendor proposals + Light drafting when required + Costing + Providing detailed technical quotations to customers + Manage assigned quotation requests and implement effective plans for timely responses. + Maintain responsibility from the initial quotation phase through the closing of sales. + Collaborate with the project management team to ensure project success from inception to completion. **Basic Qualifications** : + Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent professional experience in engineering or application engineering). + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. **Preferred Qualifications** : + Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously. + Familiarity with product pricing, cost accounting, and general sales principles. + Strong mechanical and structural skills. + Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks (2D experience required). + Previous experience in material handling equipment, industrial products, or electric motor and controls sales/quoting is a plus. **Why Join Us?** + Competitive salary based on experience and industry-specific knowledge. + Opportunity to work on impactful projects with the potential for immediate contributions to sales growth. + Flexibility for remote or hybrid work for candidates with proven industry-specific experience. **Salary: 80K-130K (DOE)** **Benefits: Medical/Dental/Life/401K + much more!** If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for application engineering and sales, we want to hear from you.
