Poly-America, L.P. is currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our sales department. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction and agricultural films.
Sales Assistants at Poly-America are responsible for preparing reports, heavy data entry using MS excel and AS400, screening calls in support of multiple salespersons and executives at the company, and helping out with administrative tasks as needed in the department. They are responsible for the day-to-day handling of national account customers. The role will also involve maintaining and creating Excel spreadsheets, entering customer orders, conducting surveys and special projects.
ResponsibilitiesPerform various support services which may include handling customer questions/requests, order entry, market research and screening calls.Complete weekly sales spreadsheets and reports.Answer department sales phoneline.Special projects as needed. Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.One to three years of experience supporting a Sales department is preferred.Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Professional and courteous demeanor with a good phone presence. Ability to work independently to complete work with minimal supervision.Willingness to help in other areas of the department as needed.High level critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
