Description
We are offering a temp to hire employment opportunity for a Sales Assistant in Sacramento, California. As a Sales Assistant, you will be tasked with a variety of functions including processing sales-related paperwork, maintaining relationships with internal and external clients, and providing excellent customer service. This position is in the industry of sales and requires skills in Microsoft Excel and Media Exposure.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and track advertising contracts, internal work orders, completion reports, and other related documents.
• Establish and cultivate positive relationships with all Account Executives, internal team members, and external clients, including advertising agencies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to all requests on behalf of the Account Executive.
• Monitor account production activities and provide accurate reports upon completion.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the CMS / IMS systems to create effective proposals, contracts, and maps for the Account Executives.
• Uphold the sales and service philosophy through supportive and consistent behavior.
• Act as a representative of the Sales Department with diplomacy and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as required, related to the Sales Department.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory for handling data and reporting.
• Experience in the Media sector is highly desirable.
• Prior Media Exposure is advantageous, as it will aid in understanding the market and client needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary to articulate product value and address customer inquiries.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Demonstrated customer service skills are essential to ensure client satisfaction.
• Sales experience, particularly in a retail environment, will be beneficial.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proactive attitude with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to role responsibilities.
