Sales Audit Team Leader
Summary of Position (Job Purpose) - Major purpose and functions of the position.Responsible for leading Sales Auditors in the audit, balancing, and verification of point-of-sale transactions as well as overall cash receipts information. Lead training of the Sales Auditors in the various Sales Audit functions.Assist the Accounting Supervisor with the Weekly Sales Closing.Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importanceTrain and develop the team in the resolution of cash receipts exceptions by auditing and analzing.Review the processing of day-to-day exceptions by the Sales Auditors to ensure they are being performed correctly and assist as needed.Assist with the testing of new functions in the sales audit systems.Participate in projects/meetings pertaining to Sales Audit for Family Dollar.Keep supervisor informed of Associate’s development.Assist with other reconciliations/projects as necessary. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.Accounting system experience Microsoft Office experience with intermediate to advanced Excel skillsGood communication skills both written and verbalGood organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detailAbility to work well with deadlines and reprioritize work assignments as neededRetail experience Ability to perform account reconciliationsGood customer service skillsExperience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
