We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits National Midmarket Sales team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in a major city within the US. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As our Sales Benefits Specialist, you will input and analyze group benefit program data for both clients and prospects. You will analyze group health and welfare coverage, provide benchmarking research and analysis, and develop overview presentations. This role requires a high level of experience with healthcare analysis and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
We will count on you to:
Input and analyze group benefit program data for clients and prospects.Analyze group health and welfare coverage and provide benchmarking research.Develop overview presentations and executive summaries for consultants.Take ownership of high complexity cases and make day-to-day decisions independently.Proactively recommend the best alternatives for clients or prospects to the Consultant.Construct PowerPoint slides and support the development of departmental work products.What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics or other related area preferred.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the healthcare benefits industry working for a group, insurance carrier, broker or general agency.Knowledge of group insurance (medical, dental, vision & life and disability products)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.What makes you stand out:
