POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversees all unit sales and business office functions and documentation administration related to the sale of boats, motors, ATV/UTV units, and trailers. Performs various selling / customer service activities to assist Powersports customers in making informed buying decisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.Meets with potential customers to determine their powersport needs. Provide information necessary to allow the customer to make an informed buying decision. Receives introduction to all customers at time of sales commitment or contacts them on the next business day to determine method of payment and discuss scheduling options.Informs all customers of finance and insurance product offerings. Coordinates all documentation involved in the sales process, i.e. creation and processing of quotes, entering of customer deposits in IDS, creation of deal jacket, submission of credit application, etc. Maintains communication with customer and Service Dept. throughout processing.Consistently monitors AppOne for finance deals and provides WRFS needed information.Schedules unit Delivery Orientations in conjunction with the Service Department. Preparation and presentation of all closing documents to the customer.Accounting for and safekeeping of all funds and customer information received in the Business Office.Ensure all sales units and documentation are not released without payment in full.Completes data entry into IDS of all transactions associated with the sale. Accurately posts all deals within 24 hours of delivery.Completes and files all required title work and associated documentation. Prepares check requests as needed.Ensures timely warranty registration of all products within manufacturer requirements.Consistently reviews all related Accounts Receivables to ensure timely funding of all deals.Maintains all aspects of MSO processing, filing, assignment and reporting per TMR-008.Maintains an adequate and timely inventory of all necessary office supplies, including state / local title and registration documentation. Manages the marine business office P-Card use and assists with timely reconciliation / coding. Maintains current product knowledge by using available resources, i.e., product brochures, Internet and product information training meetings.Utilizes IDS Prospect Management screens daily, specifically entering new customers and conducting follow up activities with customers before and after the sale.Maintains a clean and professional work area.Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent achievement preferably with emphasis on areas such as general accounting or business mathematics.Years of experience: One to two years previous sales, consumer lending, or load processing experience. Experience within the marine, auto, RV or motorcycle industries is a plus.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Mathematical Skills / Reasoning Ability: Ability to make accurate financial calculations.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with our customers, lending institutions and fellow associates.Ability to perform various functions within Dealership Management data entry system.Strong organizational abilities.Detail oriented.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly: Computer work, walking, sitting, standing
Occasionally: Lifting up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
