Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Sales Business Development Intern

The Sales Business Development internship program is designed to attract talented college students to Cox, providing them with a foundational step toward building a successful career within a dynamic and innovative company. The program will emphasize the development of essential professional selling skills, including prospecting, needs discovery, tool utilization, and delivering compelling sales presentations for our full suite of services.  Participants will gain valuable exposure to the Cox Business and RapidScale cultures, while benefiting from mentorship and coaching by Cox Business leadership to excel in a fast-paced sales environment.

What You’ll Do 

Immerse yourself with a successful sales company and learn tools and techniques to sell connectivity and managed services in the business-to-business market. You’ll develop skills on the job through a series of functional and market-based project assignments, specifically aligned to your career aspirations. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Contribute to real and meaningful business projects.Building relationships and interacting with cross-functional teams, internal and external customers and key stakeholders. Learn prospecting and discovery with industry leading tools.Analyzing business situations, multiple subsets of data and problem solving.Learn advanced communication services such as Cloud Solutions, Managed Services, Voice, and Data solutions
