Pay range: $23.00 - $25.00/HR depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Availability between the hours of: 7:30am-5pm. (8hr shifts)
Support the Director of Sales, Sales Managers, and Catering Manager in achieving customer satisfaction by managing clerical and administrative tasks related to guest and hotel communication through the sales team. Engage in light sales responsibilities for small groups and events as directed by the Director of Sales.
ResponsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent is required with College course work in related field preferred. Experience in a hotel or a related field is also preferred. Ability to type 55 wpmProficient with Microsoft operating Systems OnQ and Sales Pro EnterpriseMust be able to convey information and ideas clearly.Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Approach all guests and associates with a friendly and service-oriented attitude. Maintain regular attendance according to hotel needs, including weekends and holidays. Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards for personal appearance and grooming. Follow all hotel regulations for safe and efficient operations. Keep sales files organized and maintain the Accounts Coverage Program. Demonstrate understanding of department goals and contribute to achieving or surpassing them. Handle phone inquiries professionally and efficiently. Prepare sales contracts, reports, and other documents as needed. Manage lead logs for outbound sales. Ensure Sales system is updated and functioning properly. Assist managers with creative projects and maintain effective communication within the department and across departments. Coordinate small group bookings and meetings. Conduct site inspections when necessary. Update group pickup and preferred production in Sales system. Keep track of office supplies and sales collateral, reorder as needed. Confirm event details with clients, prepare necessary paperwork, and manage deliveries and schedules. Attend and document Sales Meetings. Stay informed about Aimbridge Hospitality sales policies. Oversee and support associates in providing exceptional service to guests. Execute any additional tasks assigned by DOS pertaining to the property's Sales and Marketing efforts.
