SUMMARYOVERVIEW: The Sales and Logistics Coordinator takes ownership of key decision-making responsibilities within our dynamic customer racing program. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding car and parts sales and plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing all sales and logistics operations. This role requires strong decision-making abilities, a keen focus on process improvements, and a commitment to financial accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced motorsports environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS: Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Customer Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary liaison for all customer sales inquiries, providing expert guidance and solutions related to car and parts sales.Make informed decisions to address customer needs efficiently, balancing service excellence with business objectives.Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long-term loyalty and repeat business.Sales Operations Oversight:
Take ownership of the end-to-end sales process, including documentation, pricing strategies, order fulfillment, and financial reporting.Evaluate and prioritize parts and restocking requests based on demand trends and inventory levels.Drive strategic improvements to sales workflows to enhance efficiency and profitability.Lead the invoicing process with a focus on accuracy and timely submission, ensuring compliance with financial policies.Logistics Strategy & Execution:
Manage and make critical decisions regarding the transportation of cars and parts to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.Oversee logistics planning, including carrier selection, contract negotiations, and route optimization.Proactively address logistical challenges, developing contingency plans to minimize disruptions.Serve as the central point of communication for all shipping-related matters, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.Process Optimization & Financial Accountability:
Continuously assess and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency across sales and logistics functions.Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth potential.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, holding accountability for all sales-related financial transactions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices that align with business goals.EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
BS or MS in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronic Systems6+ years of engineering experienceDESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated ability to make independent, strategic decisions with minimal supervision.Strong leadership skills with a focus on accountability and process improvement.Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.Proven experience in sales coordination, logistics, and financial management, preferably within the motorsports or automotive industry.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/logistics management systems is preferred.Passion for motorsports and a deep understanding of industry dynamics.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

$56,600.00 - $88,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
