Sales Coordinator - Retail

The Sales Coordinator role will play a crucial part in supporting several retail accounts at the store level as well as ecommerce needs while working alongside the Account Manager for each specific account. This would include new item setup and edits, running reports using Generac sales software, and fostering effective communication between the sales department, internal business partners and our customers.  This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Offer sales support to Account Managers as needed on Amazon.com, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, TractorSupply.com, Walmart.com, ebay.com, and other national retailer ecommerce accounts

Run reports to support customer meetings and the overall sales process

Create PowerPoint presentations to aid as a selling tool for Account Managers

Create and maintain process documents for the team to develop a self-serve mentality

Act as a liaison between the sales teams, internal business partners, and external customers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Ongoing effort to enhance processes and procedures by utilizing a Continuous Improvement mindset.

Manage Sales Coordinator inbound and outbound calls as well as email correspondence from internal and external customers

Support other non-revenue generated work to support our sales teams

Ensure all Generac families of products are built and maintained on customer websites

Help to ensure all inventory and pricing is correct and transmitting to partners appropriately

Work with marketing and Account Managers to ensure all needed digital assets are created aligned with the customer’s required spec needs

Run reports using Generac sales software

Help to manage promotional calendar to ensure accuracy

Other duties as assigned

Minimal Qualifications:

High School Diploma required

One or more years of relevant sales, customer service or internship experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in business or marketing preferred

Experience with Salesforce

Experience with data entry

Demonstrated experience with report generation and data manipulation, including graphs and charts

Knowledge/Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication

Good administrative and organizational skills

Ability to analyze and solve problems

Effective prioritization and time management skills

Ability to multi-task; detail orientation.

Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft suite, specifically Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
