Sales Counselor, Senior Living

*1-2 years previous healthcare sales experience required.
*Starting pay is $70000 per year, plus bonus!

The Sales Counselor will drive internal sales efforts to achieve and exceed community census goals. The SC is responsible for lead base management (inquiries, tours, lead follow-up, creative next steps and generating a 30-60-90 day pipeline), and will partner with the Executive Director to complete move-in paperwork, coordinate day of move-in with Director of Artis Way Experience, and ensure suite-readiness in collaboration with Director of Environmental Services. The Sales Counselor will execute and attend networking events on and off site.

Primary Job Responsibilities: 

Employ strategies that focus on building stronger, deeper and more trusted relationships by invoking empathy and providing a more customized relevant and creative experience for prospective families. Follow-up regularly with all current leads, including digital, and develop new referrals for obtaining leads.  In partnership with Director of Sales & Marketing coordinate, plan and efficiently execute marketing events to reach/exceed sales targets. May have responsibility for external sales as instructed by the Director of Sales & Marketing and Executive Director. Observe community policies and procedures regarding resident and team member safety, attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, and resident service. Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality at all times. Adhere to all Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire, and safety regulations at all times, to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and team members. Perform all other duties as requested. 

Work Experience:

2-3 years sales experience in assisted living, long-term care or hospital systems highly preferred. Familiarity with state law and regulations surrounding senior housing and assisted living. Ability to develop, organize and implement creative marketing plans. Ability to relate in a professional and positive manner with all team members, residents, families, and vendors. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members at all levels of the community and corporation. Must possess a valid driver’s license and operable vehicle.
