Sales & Customer Care Consultant
Description We are in search of a Sales & Customer Care Consultant to join our team in the retail industry based in Mahwah, New Jersey. This role involves managing customer interactions across various channels, resolving customer issues promptly, and assisting customers with various inquiries. This role also requires a proactive approach to anticipate and mitigate any obstacles to a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities: • Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience • Address and resolve customer issues and complaints across various channels, including email, phone, live chat, and social media • Assist customers with a range of inquiries, including product questions, returns, delivery, registration, and payments • Take a proactive approach to anticipate and prevent any obstacles that could hinder a seamless customer experience • Collaborate with colleagues across Customer Care and other internal departments to continuously strive to improve service and knowledge • Handle tasks related to customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Contribute to meeting departmental goals, including sales, quality, and productivity targets • Use skills such as answering inbound calls, customer service, data entry, email correspondence, and Microsoft Excel and Word to effectively perform job duties. Requirements • Proven experience in a retail or customer service role • Strong ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Demonstrated experience in data entry and order entry tasks • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly • Ability to manage email correspondence in a professional and timely manner • Experience in scheduling appointments in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer queries effectively • Ability to work in a team and contribute to achieving team goals.
