Sales Data Quality Analyst

Analysts will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of sales deal data, focusing on critical elements that impact business decisions and financial outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate, maintain, and enhance the quality of sales data, thereby enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. **Key Responsibilities** + Conduct thorough data profiling and analysis to identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and outliers. + Execute comprehensive data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical data elements including but not limited to conversion rates, new/renewal splits, incremental Annual Contract Value (ACV) / Total Contract Value (TCV), and deal spans. + Develop and implement data cleansing and standardization processes to ensure consistency and accuracy across sales deal data. + Validate the classification of new logos and account segments to ensure alignment with organizational criteria and strategies. + Conduct thorough reviews of closed lost renewal deals to verify alignment with new business opportunities and prevent discrepancies in deal categorization. + Ensure accuracy and completeness of SPIF attributes and flags associated with sales deals. + Perform validation checks on opportunity close dates and start dates to ensure timely renewal validation and compliance with contractual terms. + Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues to identify underlying factors and implement preventive measures. + Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality rules, processes, and issues. + Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, IT) to understand data requirements, address data quality issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives. **Good to have** + Good to know SaaS Products and their different pricing models offered by companies such as One time cost, Pay-as-You-Go, subscription etc., + Knowledge on sales strategies such as Cross Sell, Upsell, Down sell, price uplift is required + Experience with inventory management data, including quotes, purchase orders, invoices, deal registrations, licenses, contracts is desired + Ability to understand Sales data flow from different systems to a unified database or CRM tool is a plus **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field. + 4+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, sales operations, or related roles. + Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools. + Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred. + Basic understanding of sales processes and deal structures. + Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. **Commercial** **at AVEVA** Our Commercial team, comprised of over 2,000 dedicated colleagues, is the backbone of our customer relationships and business growth.
