We are launching a new sales organization, Presidio Vista, that is focused on new customer acquisition and growth in the Mid-Market space. THE ROLE: Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) reporting to our office in New York City, or Philadelphia, PA, you will play a crucial role in attracting new clients. You will be responsible for prospecting into target accounts, conducting market research, developing business strategies and pitches, and new business opportunities.  

Travel Requirements:

This role requires minimal travel.

Job Responsibilities:

Embrace and promote the company’s vision and mission, striving to achieve assigned goals and objectives.  Create customer demand by prospecting into new and existing customers using phone, email, and social media engagement.  Participate in regular role-playing and messaging exercises to sharpen your skills.  Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and growth opportunities.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective demand generation strategies.  Assist in drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference materials, and other necessary documents.  Identify and engage with new business opportunities and partners.  Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients. 

Required Skills: 

1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in business development or a similar field is preferred.  Self-starter mentality  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. 

Additional Desired Skills: 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Strong operational management skills  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software. 

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or equivalent work or military experience. 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in business development or a similar field is preferred. 

Base Salary Range: $60,000
