Title: Sales Development Supervisor

The Sales Development Supervisor (SDS) will lead and motivate a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), focusing on their growth, skill-building, and performance in prospecting, nurturing, and lead qualification. This role is pivotal in achieving company goals for delivering Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and building the Sales pipeline.
What You Will Do
As an SDS, you will support your team by creating a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to thrive. Working closely with marketing and the greater sales organization, you will execute lead qualification best practices, monitor team achievements, and drive productivity to meet goals. This role does not involve direct selling but plays a key part in aligning efforts across teams to drive results.
Lead and develop a team of early-career SDRs to achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and quarterly sales goals while growing their skills and confidence.
Coach SDRs with an emphasis on personal and professional growth, preparing them for future roles in sales and beyond.
Develop, manage, evaluate, and enhance lead processing and nurturing workflows - recommending and coordinating changes based on process analysis and marketing best practice.
Work closely with Marketing and Demand Generation teams to create scripts, sales plays, and training materials that set the team up for success.
Provide actionable feedback to Sales and Marketing teams to refine processes and improve the quality of leads.
Collaborate with Sales leadership to ensure alignment and foster strong working relationships between SDRs and sellers.
Support the team in managing and refining lead workflows, implementing process improvements as needed.
Embrace, adapt, and identify changes in priorities, workflows, or business strategies while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, listening effectively and transmitting information clearly.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
2+ years of leadership or team management experience, ideally in sales or a related field (coaching or mentoring experience strongly valued).
3-5 years of progressive B2B sales or related experience, including familiarity with lead prospecting, nurturing, and qualification techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Experience working with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong) is a plus.
Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle stages, with a focus on early-stage lead development.
A passion for working with early-career professionals, fostering their development, and helping them succeed.
Demonstration and understanding of best practice techniques for lead prospecting, nurturing, and qualification.
Knowledge of the construction industry or related sectors is a bonus but not required.
Target salary:
$60,000 - $75,000
