THE ROLE: SALES DIRECTOR - SLED
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead a high-performing regional team of account managers in the SLED space. Your mission: inspire and empower your team to exceed sales targets, nurture client relationships, build our vendor partnerships and drive exponential growth in our public sector accounts.
This role is perfect for a passionate leader with a knack for fostering high-impact partnerships, strategizing for growth, and delivering outstanding results.
LOCATION REQUIREMENT
Candidates must reside in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, or Illinois. Travel within the region is expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of SLED-focused account managers, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Drive Growth: Achieve and exceed revenue goals by cultivating new opportunities and expanding relationships within existing accounts. Strategic Client Engagement: Build deep executive relationships with customers and partners to deliver value and impactful solutions. Collaborative Leadership: Partner with regional and organizational leadership to align goals and initiatives for optimal team performance. Market Expertise: Stay ahead of public cloud trends and ensure your team is equipped with the knowledge to excel. Operational Excellence: Oversee team activity in Salesforce.com to track performance, forecast accurately, and maintain clear visibility on opportunities.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (military experience welcomed). Proven success in managing, coaching, and developing sales teams. Extensive knowledge of public cloud technologies (AWS preferred, Azure and GCP a plus). 8+ years of sales experience, with 2+ years focused on consulting services (e.g., Public Cloud, DevOps, Data & Analytics). Experience with formal sales methodologies (Sandler, SPIN, Challenger, etc.). Strong executive presence and ability to present to C-level audiences.ABOUT PRESIDIO
