Job Description

  

Dynamics/Forecast Management: Manage Dynamics Customer Relationship Management functions for the Components sales team. Act as SME for Microsoft Dynamics and provide sales team training and appropriate updates on new features.Work with IT to ensure Components Dynamics application meets the needs and requirements of the sales team.Develop and manage sales forecasting templates and tools ensuring up to date/real time forecasting is available to both the sales team and management. SIOP Forecasting: Working with both sales and product management teams, ensure accurate SIOP input is provided to the SBA production team monthly or as needed based on spot demand. Price list management/maintenance: Act as main POC for SBA price list management and maintenance:Coordinating with product management, ensure price list is accurate and reflects existing part numbers, pricing, distributor discounts, ECCN and HTS codes.Working with pricing team and Sales Administration to ensure Dynamics and SAP pricing and part numbers are reconciled. Provide distribution partners updated price lists as appropriate, identifying changes and providing notice when changes take effect.Export Licensing/GTC: Be focal point and liaison between sales and GTC for export licensing processes.Working with external sales team, provide appropriate support and assist in tracking export licenses.Keep an updated list and workflow for the most common GTC documents and export policies utilized by the sales team.Demo camera management/logistics: Maintain accurate inventory of all demo assets including up to date tracking of physical location.Provide logistical support of demo camera movement to fulfill needs in the field.Issue Material Requests (MR)/Nonstandard Transaction Requests for sales demo assets as requested by the sales team.Create and submit Capital Expense Requests for high value demo assets as needed to support ongoing sales activities.Inside/Account Management Support: Support Sales Account Manager as needed with specific accounts and/or products:As deemed appropriate and necessary by Sales Account Manager, interface with sales accounts to perform quotations, order processing, distribution of product information, etc. MCS sales lead: Act as internal focal point for MCS lead qualification and sales. Qualify incoming leads.Direct leads to distribution as appropriate (preferred)Move prospects through sales funnel. o Provide quotations and receive purchase orders.Develop a high-level working knowledge of the MCS product line, datasheet information, technical features, etc.Sales Channel / Direct Sales Support: Support representatives, distributors, internal sales, and Teledyne FLIR Contracts organization. Support is provided over all market segments, with specific emphasis on OEM sales.Trade Show Support:Assists with gathering all products/cameras/show assets for outbound shipments-follows supplied logistic packing list and confirms items in shipment. Manages export licensing shipping processes (ELR, commercial invoices, product ECCN classification, HTS codes etc.) for international shows, and provides me with necessary documentation to share with our carrier. Unpacks/inventories marketing assets and graphics upon return from shows and re-inventories into Marketing storage room. Is POC to ship newly created assets to as well. Gathers all product information to complete required Trade Show Control Plans. Compiles post trade show badge scan import lists for Marketing and Dynamics. Travels to trade shows for onsite support when needed.

Marketing Support:

SIRAS specific: Daily lead exporting from CRMManages SIRAS demo assets- re-kits with manuals, extra batteries, etc. to prepare for shipment.Manages/labels inventory of SIRAS marketing batteries stored in engineering.Creates shippers and manages process when sending demo units to influencers.CRM Management- Dashboard creation, reporting, lead forwardingSales Meeting event support- Planning, onsite, and follow up.Maintain updated pitch decks for all core product lines: LWIR, MWIR, Digital Products, MCS, and other sales and marketing collateral.Manages printing needs of sales collateral- trade shows, manuals, etc.Support distributor portal managementSources giveaway options via external vendors- HR, Sales Offsites, Sales Meetings, Trade Shows, SIRAS t-shirts, etc.

Responsibilities:

Work with sales staff in support of ongoing sales activities.Develop tracking system for support of sales staff.Monitor and report on status of repair activities for critical customers.Generate necessary MR and CERs for demo hardware.Develop a process to track and report on status and whereabouts of all demo hardware.Travel to all domestic and some international trade shows and be responsible for booth setup and tear down, booth staffing schedules, and coordination of customer visits to trade shows.Become proficient in US regulations for export of IR technology.Be liaison, as needed, between sales team and GTC personnel.Use TDY FLIR CRM and support sales staff with quotes and or POCs in the CRM system.Perform other job-related duties, as required. .

Required Education/Certification

College degree with some engineering, physics, or other “hard” science courses as part of that degree. 

Required Skills

Three years of appropriate industry experience.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills. Flexibility and ability to cope with, and quickly adapt to, changing priorities, special assignments, and workload re-prioritization.Strong collaborative and teamwork skills. Ability to navigate internal organizations including, Contract, Finance, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Legal and Compliance, as needed to execute assigned duties.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics CRM programs. Ability to travel up to 15%, if needed.Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to read, write and speak using the English language.Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

  

Salary Range:

$59,400.00-$79,310.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
