Sales Engagement Manager

Job Details:

The Sales Engagement Manager will be responsible for driving new business in the assigned territory. The Sales Engagement Manager will carry both a software and a services quota and the responsibility of demonstrating PipelineRx software. The position requires previous demonstrated success selling at an executive level within hospitals and health systems as well as a general understanding of hospital pharmacy workflow.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engagement Manager will be responsible for all prospecting activities, building their funnel to support the assigned quota, demonstrating the software to customers, developing/presenting customer ROI opportunities, presenting and negotiating contracts and closing new
business.

Performance Objectives

Prospecting & funnel building

Cold calling/lead generation

E-mail campaigns as assigned

Networking with potential future prospects

Identifying and analyzing customer preferences and needs to properly direct sales efforts

CRM systems updates

Maintaining systems to ensure all updates are captured in a timely fashion

Proper and realistic forecasting

Closing new business

Owning and hitting/exceeding sales targets within assigned territory and accounts for both software and services

Contributing to team success

Working collaboratively with the Sales Team and foster a culture of continuous process improvement

Sharing strategies with teammates

Assisting in the creation of new marketing collateral

Working with internal teams (Pharmacy Operations, IT, etc.) to on behalf of clients to ensure highest level of customer service

Assisting in the creation of new marketing collateral

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field

Healthcare Software Sales and a preference for participation in professional organizations (HIMSS, ASHP, HFMA, etc.)

Excellent interpersonal skills; must be an effective listener, with demonstrated ability to manage conflict, facilitate, and negotiate to positive outcomes

Strong communicative skills, both written and verbal; comfort with current modes and methods (e.g., mobile, social media) and strong skills in engaging remote employees
