The Role

Proofpoint is looking for a Program Manager to add to the Sales Engagement group. This person will provide sales tech stack support to global sales and BDR users. You will help develop and optimize data-informed prospecting best-practices, create outbound content, and own outbound messaging strategy; all while supporting Proofpoint’s mission of protecting people and defending data. Along with analysis on tool usage and platform support, you will be working closely with the inbound program manager and cross functionally with other departments to provide enhanced insight into campaign performance and how the tools contribute to the business goals.

Your day-to-day:

Every day is a new challenge, here are some examples of what to expect:

Create outbound messaging for the sales org to leverage while prospecting and be responsible for the Drift chat toolPerform content audits and provide recommendations for sequences, InMail messages, etc. focused on the BDR/SDR teamsAssist in managing support queues for tools including Drift, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfoBe responsible for updating various presentations giving leadership key insights into prospecting activity and outcomesOther assigned duties when required

What you bring to the team:

Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skillsStrong understanding of and experience with a sales engagement platform (Outreach.io, SalesLoft, etc.) and live chat/website engagement platform (Drift, Qualified, Intercom, etc.)Experience in a sales or marketing role where you successfully created your own contentAbility to coach others while applying pleasant and effective customer service skillsDesire to maintain a culture of accountability, hard work, and innovation for yourself and othersExperience troubleshooting sales tool issues and creatively solving problemsAbility to successfully work cross functional with internal stake holders (Marketing, BDR, Sales Manager, Operations)Experience managing projects to ensure deadlines are met

Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity. Base Pay Ranges:

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 116,690.00 - 183,370.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 96,880.00 - 152,240.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 87,220.00 - 137,060.00 USD
