Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: hybrid from our Daresbury, Cheshire headquarters. #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Marine Service & Digital product group for the Marines & Ports division in the UK. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDriving sales by providing technical expertise to customers and developing innovative solutions that meet their needs •\tPreparing and delivering technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective clients as well as conducting product demonstrations and trials to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions•\tDeveloping and presenting detailed proposals and cost estimates to customers.•\tCollaborating with the engineering and product development teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and specifications•\tAssisting in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company targets.

Qualifications for the role

You have established skills and experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the Marine and Ports sector.You are an excellent communicator of complex technical concepts, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.You are passionate about developing and maintaining customer relationships and have a results oriented mindset.You hold a tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Electrical/Automation or a related field.You are at ease communicating in English and are able to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
