**Position Summary:**
The Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving growth by understanding and addressing customer needs, providing technical expertise, and clearly articulating the value of our products and services. Acting as a bridge between technical solutions and customer satisfaction, the Sales Engineer will help develop and sustain customer relationships, ensuring a high level of trust and engagement.

**Objectives of the Role:**
+ **Drive Customer-Centric Solutions:** Understand customer requirements in depth and recommend tailored product solutions from SDP/SI’s portfolio that maximize customer value and drive sales.
+ **Lead Technical Support Across the Sales Cycle:** Act as the primary technical advisor, providing expert support and guidance to help customers fully leverage SDP/SI’s products and achieve their goals.
+ **Deliver Engaging Product Demonstrations:** Conduct impactful product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the unique value, functionality, and competitive advantages of our solutions.
+ **Pursue New Growth Opportunities:** Collaborate closely with the sales and engineering teams to proactively identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities.
+ **Build Lasting Customer Relationships:** Foster and maintain strong customer relationships that boost satisfaction, increase loyalty, and drive repeat business.
+ **Influence Sales Strategies and Contracts:** Actively contribute to the development of sales strategies, offering technical insights to inform pricing models and support contract negotiations that drive revenue growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Lead Sales Strategy Development:** Drive the creation and implementation of an innovative sales approach, positioning SDP/SI's products to meet market demands and customer needs.
+ **Master Product Knowledge:** Develop a deep understanding of SDP/SI’s product lines, including technical features and applications, to effectively communicate value and differentiate our offerings.
+ **Customer Solution Design:** Assess customer pain points and business challenges to craft tailored solutions that meet unique technical requirements and add value.
+ **Lead Product Demonstrations:** Strategically conduct product demonstrations, proactively addressing technical inquiries and showcasing key product functionalities to influence purchasing decisions.
+ **Guide Sales Engagements:** Serve as the primary technical lead during sales engagements, answering in-depth questions and leading discussions in client meetings to advance opportunities.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
+ At least 2 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably as a Sales Engineer.
+ Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
+ Proven experience in presenting technical products and resolving customer technical questions.
+ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
+ Problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on identifying and meeting customer needs.
+ Motivated and results-driven, with a track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Willingness to travel 40% of the time.
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge of the mechanical component market and customer base in the Tri-State Area.
+ Experience with CRM and sales management tools.
+ Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams, especially product development and marketing.
Salary range: $90,000.00-$100,000.00
**Pay Details:** $100,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
