We are now seeking to appoint a Sales Engineer within our Industry Heat Exchanger team to further develop our existing customer base, as well as promote our innovative products and solutions to new customers. We enjoy a strong market position across the markets we serve within Climate Solutions, and this role will be able to build upon and leverage these existing commercial relationships, as well as draw upon our extensive technical capabilities across our business.
This role is one of four which holds responsibility for customers across Italy, and as such candidates should be located within easy access to major transport links. Travel within the role will be regular, with an occasional need to travel beyond the other Danfoss sites.
Job Responsibilities
As Sales Engineer, Heat Exchangers, you will play a leading part in building and developing successful relationships within both existing and new customers, across key markets including Power, Food & Beverage, Chemicals and General Manufacturing sectors across Italy.
You’ll play a key role in supporting our further growth in line with our business plans, by expanding your project pipeline and developing our technical solutions based on a deep understanding of customer requirements.
You’ll also be able to establish and develop Partner growth, as well as supporting and building strong relationships with the Italian sales team to develop innovative technical solutions.
Furthermore, the key tasks of this position are to:
Develop a business plan to deliver success within the heat exchanger market within the Power, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, and General Industry sectors. Identify sales potential in the region and determine the most effective way to obtain business. Business development through new customers and introduction of new product Follow up all quotations and establish contact with customer base via sales force. Update Salesforce with customer contacts and meeting reports. Furthermore, you will display:
Educational Background in Mechanical Engineering. +5 years of experience in Commercial roles, gained in multinational middle structured environment, consistent with heat exchangers or similar products. Demonstrable ability to build successful commercial relationships with external customers and partners, as well as internal colleagues across Danfoss. Strong communication and presentation skills, including proficiency with MS Office products. Self-motivation with an ability to prioritize, multitask and work effectively within a matrix organisation. Familiarity with working in an internationally oriented environment would be preferred, and you should welcome the opportunity to work with different cultures, mindsets & backgrounds.
