Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to join our team. This role involves outside sales in a particular region in the US, with a focus on achieving quarterly commissions and base salary. The ideal candidate will have experience in conveyor systems and a strong engineering experience. A passion for hunting new business opportunities is essential.
ResponsibilitiesDrive and create innovative solutions that put the customers’ needs first.Prospect and acquire new accounts within a designated territory.Manage opportunities and sell conveyor solutions within the territory.Lead relationships with distributors, integrators, and direct accounts within the territory.Manage quoting and project management for your customer base.Essential SkillsExperience in engineering and sales engineering.Knowledge of conveyor systems.Proven ability to drive and create innovative solutions for customers.Strong organizational and time management skills.Highly motivated with great people skills, a positive attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate or BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.5+ years of experience in the field.Sales experience in material handling, power transmission, or packaging related backgrounds is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.Experience with customer relationship management systems.Work Environment
This position requires minor travel within your territory. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, focusing on innovative solutions and customer satisfaction. Dress code is business casual.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
