We are seeking a Sales Engineer who will play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our DarkBlue platform to potential and existing customers. This customer-facing position requires a blend of technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and an interest in solving complex challenges. While this position supports the sales cycle within the Growth team, the Sales Engineer will have the opportunity to contribute across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Growth team and lead customer-facing technical discussions and activities in support of the full sales cycleLead virtual and in-person technical engagements with customers, understanding their unique needs and challengesBuild customer-specific solutions and product demonstrations that showcase the value of the DarkBlue platform in addressing customer pain points and mission needsLeverage deep insights of DarkBlue to become a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance and thought leadershipCollaborate with customers to design solutions that integrate with their existing workflows and products/systemsCommunicate and translate technical requirements to the Product and Engineering teams to ensure that the addition and improvement of new features is responsive to customer needs Assist the Growth team in managing pre-sales engagements from creating demo accounts to helping to maintain the team’s sales platform, Hubspot, to ensure proper tracking of effortsParticipate in conferences, marketing initiatives, and drafting of analytical products as neededSupport sales enablement of partners and channel alliancesSome travel on-site for customer meetings and conferences will be requiredYou’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s DegreeAt least 2 years in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, consulting, and/or technical architecture)Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and analytics tools; experience with dark web analytics is a plusExceptional interpersonal skillsExperience in conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with working across teams, both within groups and independentlyAbility to travel to client sites in the DC Metro area and possibly across the country; about 25-30% of travel expectedGeographic proximity to the DC metropolitan areaThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

The proposed salary range for this position is:
