Sales Engineer - DCS Taiwan
Job Description

As the Sales Engineer of the Climate Solutions Segment, you will be responsible to drive business growth in Taiwan for our refrigeration and air conditioning controls, heat exchangers, compressors, district energy and buildings, residential heating, sensors, high pressure pumps, and others. You will represent Danfoss interest in the local market, and connect with government stakeholders, business leaders, and other institutions, to promote our sustainability agenda and generate business opportunities. This includes reaching out to our channel partners to develop stronger value propositions on our solutions, and mapping out approach to the market in our Food and Green Buildings Hotspot, which include vertical/fish farming, smart stores, efficient cold chain, HVAC and Chilled Water Systems.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

Provide overall sales activities for Segment business by driving profitable growth, and gain market share through defining and driving Segment sales strategy across hotspots Formalize business processes for Segment sales Develop strong industry knowledge and external network in relevant area Optimize offer and value proposition for segment products by evaluating market trends, customer behaviours and competitor activities, in cooperation with other Segments Define and execute application and product training and build best-in-class product and application approach to the local market Implement Segment pricing strategy Develop and professionalize interfaces and collaboration across Segment value chain Focus on cross-segment products selling Background & Skills

Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent, with proven experience in sales and business development in the engineering or industrial sectors Minimum 3 years’ experience of sales related and industry knowhow Good business acumen and strategy deployment experience Effective communication and negotiation skills Experience with different sales channels (distributors, OEM and project sales) Professional Engineering (PE) certificate is preferable Experiences in OEM/KA development Can work around local SI Employee Benefits
