Sales Engineer-Tracker Division
AUI Partners is looking for a dynamic sales engineer with experience leading the technical side of the sales process in the solar industry. This is an important role that will be directly responsible for interfacing with the customer and producing compelling technical deliverables that help AUI connect our products to new markets and customers. The position features a lot of oversight of the PV system design activities that take place here at AUI, requiring close coordination with the sales, product management, and supply chain teams to identify design considerations, track the required project deliverables through the sales process, and delivery high-quality, informative, and persuasive content. We are looking for someone who is an industry expert on the configuration and optimization of distributed generation and utility-scale solar PV projects. You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative team bringing essential solar technology to projects around the world. You lead the work of others and must be able to provide clear and detailed feedback with skill and respect. You know the right questions to ask, get clarity, prioritize, and then execute. You understand the customer and develop content tailored to their needs. Responsibilities: + Responsible for developing, tracking, and managing technical sales in support of the deployment of AUI services to North American Renewable Energy sector. + Manage a pipeline of projects and deliverables in our CRM and consistently deliver high-quality, on-time work product. + Meet with potential customers via phone, email, and in-person to discuss project specifications and partner with sales to articulate the business benefits and technical advantages of AUI products. + Lead the development of project configuration drawings for PV projects from 1MW – 50MW. + Responsible for analyzing the existing process environment related to AUI pre-sales activities and leading future automation and design. + Will utilize the primary software tools of the solar PV industry to perform advanced PV system optimization and design. + Manage a pipeline of business in our CRM and consistently meet or exceed close ratio’s and other sales performance quotas + Participates in business development, networking and marketing activities related to securing clients and winning programs/projects. + BA/BS degree in engineering, technology or related field of study + 1+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical product support role within the solar industry + Understanding of and utilizing CAD Software + Prior experience leading others and managing their work product. + A subject matter expert in the field of solar PV systems + A strong presenter and communicator in written responses to emails, customer interactions and guiding customer’s understanding of a new technology + Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base + Familiarity with the solar industry, key players and value drivers + A self-starter who can operate under limited direction. + Demonstrated ability to develop high quality work product. + Expert user of MS Excel.
