The Sales Excellence Senior Manager leads strategic sales initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness and productivity of our sales team, including local and national sales. This role is focused on sales enablement, ensuring that our sales force is equipped with the right tools, resources, training, and support to exceed their targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, a deep understanding of sales processes, and a passion for driving continuous improvement with the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives from design through implementation **This position is virtual/remote which means the work can be completed from anywhere is the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.** **This role will need to work on a Central Time Zone.** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Initiative Ownership: Serving as an Initiative Owner or Project Manager to manage complex, cross-functional sales initiatives from design to deployment. + Sales Enablement Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales enablement strategies that align with the company's business objectives and growth targets. + Sales Activation: Develop and implement sales activation plans to drive engagement, motivation, and performance within the sales team. This includes organizing events, campaigns, and other initiatives that promote sales growth. + Training and Development: Design, implement, and manage training to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. + Resource Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of sales enablement resources, including sales playbooks, tools, templates, and collateral. + Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations and enhance sales productivity. + Technology Utilization: Leverage sales technology and platforms to enhance sales performance and efficiency. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies as needed. + Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and drive improvements. + Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on initiative performance and overall sales performance. + Other duties as assigned by manager **SUPERVISION** : + N/A **RELATIONSHIPS** + **Internal:** Sales initiative Workstream Leaders and cross-functional teams from all functions in the organization + **External:** Customers, Vendors, and External Consultants **WORK ENVIRONMENT** (Select one) + **Remote** : This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + 7 years of business, change management, consulting, marketing, sales, or other relevant experience + Experience leading projects that require coordination across team boundaries in large, multi-function, cross-geographic, matrixed organizations + Experience designing and executing sales strategies, considering market dynamics and business objectives + Experience identifying, establishing, implementing, and sharing best practices in sales environments + Strong communication skills including ability to design and deliver compelling presentations that influence all levels of the organization + Strong change management skills to ensure successful field deployment of initiatives and best practices + Proficient in identifying challenges, developing solutions, and adapting strategies to address changing market conditions + Overnight travel up to 25% **EDUCATION** + Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources, talent management, project management, organizational effectiveness, experience design, or relevant working experience **CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING** + N/A **LICENSES** + N/A **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + MBA or Master's degree preferred + Food service or food distribution experience highly preferred + Understanding of sales processes with demonstrated field sales or sales leadership experience is highly preferred + Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred **PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS** + Standard required physical activities including length of time performing each activity. **Universal pay verbiage** **:** Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
