ResponsibilitiesPosition Purpose:
The Sales Executive will collaborate with the Specialty Green Coffee team to contribute to the continued growth of an existing and profitable business. This person will be expected to be a key member of the business development team and work with existing client relationships and market to prospective new clients and suppliers. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and growing company.
Responsibilities:
Execute and manage the purchase and sale of commodities and related logistics in support of coffee buyers, within the operational and risk requirements of StoneX Commodity Solutions, LLC.Assist in the managing of day-to-day operations of the StoneX Specialty Coffee business, including coordination of front office activities, business development, acquisitions and strategy development.Leverage trade relationships and industry knowledge to provide synergies across the supply chain to strengthen client relationships.Cross-sell other products and servicesAssist in collection of valuation data and supporting documentation for commodity inventory and forward contractsAssist in the monitoring and managing of daily operations of the specialty coffee portfolio, including risk limits, delivery schedules, trade documentation and trade settlement.Communicate with necessary departments within the company such as operations, credit, and compliance, and risk.Conduct meetings with personnel to discuss markets, clients, services, industry and other pertinent information.This list of responsibilities may not be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as needed. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years in green coffee merchandising, including experience in specialty coffeeKnowledge of specialty coffee grading and quality standardsUnderstanding and experience with commodity sustainability programsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to exercise good judgement in assessing opportunity and risksAbility to work with and contribute to the build of teamsProficient in Microsoft office productsEducation Requirements:

Hybrid work model - 3x a week in office, 2x remote Maintain prompt attendanceTravel as needed for client meetings and industry eventsDynamic, time-sensitive environmentHiring Salary Range $65,000 - $200,000 Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
