A unique opportunity exists for an outstanding candidate to join us in our Gurgaon office as part of our Central Sales & Distribution team to drive Sales Initiatives & Channel Comms, focused on Mac, iPad, Watch & Audio Line of Business (LOBs). This role will be a core part of the India Sales Org and will report into LOB Business Manager (BM) and work closely with various route-to-markets (RTMs) / channels as well as functions like Affordability, Finance within the sales org and collaborate closely with the India Marketing team, on various sales offer comms as well as sales driving projects. The candidate is expected to drive Mac, iPad, Watch & Audio sales growth through a mix of large cross-functional initiatives as well as channel comms focused on sales offers & affordability. DescriptionDescriptionThe role will have responsibilities to drive Mac, iPad, Watch & Audio business growth through 2 key areas: 1. Sales Initiatives and Special Projects - Develop deep understanding of Mac, iPad, Watch & Audio business across sales and distribution, including various nuances across channels (both offline and online) - Identify and implement projects to drive sales growth of each of the LOBs within the country - Lead cross-functional engagement with various functions within sales (like Affordability, Finance) as well as outside sales like Marketing, Services to take the identified initiatives to closure - Support Business Managers (BMs) to plan and review LOB performance on a weekly basis and quarterly basis incl. independent handling of entire LOB, as and when required 2. Channel Comms - Develop channel communication plans focused on sales offers and affordability, which will help accelerate sales of Mac, iPad, Watch & Audio in the country - Ensure flawless roll-out of our channel communication plans through all channels, in line with defined global marketing guidelines - Support National Distributors and key large channel partner, in conjunction with partner-comms team within India Marketing team, in developing various marketing assets and media planning for campaigns through the year - Manage day-to-day operational aspects of our comms plan incl. liaising with business partners and media & advertising agencies (if required) for timely and efficient delivery of the plans - Define and measure return on investment of various sales comms activities (traditional as well as new age media) - Benchmark industry standard methodologies and latest market development, to propose new comms to stimulate LOB salesMinimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications7+ years of overall experience. 4+ years of experience in marketing communications across both Traditional and New Age Media and 3+ years of experience within the sales org, driving sales growth initiatives.Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from a reputed instituteExcellent understanding and knowledge of communication tools and media vehiclesOperational & proven experience of taking care of agencies and marketing vendorsKey QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsAbility to influence people cross-functionally, within and outside of AppleStrong Business and Commercial Foresight incl. ability to solve problems using first-principlesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to make exec-presentationsStrong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.Flexibility and creativity in proposing new and different solutions to existing problemsOutstanding organisation skills and ability to handle several projects at onceAlways striving for excellence in everything you doDesire to grow within the sales organisation, either into central functions or within channel salesThe highest level of integrity, honesty, and accountability in all that you do, every single dayEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMore
