Sales Instructional Designer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Instructional Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and develop cutting-edge training programs, onboarding materials and education materials tailored to enhance the effectiveness of our sales team.  You will work closely with subject matter experts across our Sales, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders to create impactful, and results-driven training solutions that drive sales performance.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

Instructional Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement sales training materials and programs for new hires and existing sales team members using instructional design principles and methodologies

Create Sales Tools and Resources: Develop engaging content, including presentations, simulations, role-plays and interactive activities, that address specific sales skills, processes and product knowledge

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales leaders, marketing teams, and product managers to identify training gaps and requirements based on sales performance data, feedback and business goals

Content Creation and Management: Ensure all training content is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects the latest production information, sales techniques and industry trends

Learning Tools & Technology: Leverage various learning technologies and tools such as HighSpot, Workday Learning, authoring tools like Rise 360 and virtual training platforms like Zoom to deliver and track training programs

Maintain Knowledge Base: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure that sales tools and training materials remain relevant and effective

Project Management: Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training materials and programs

Support & Facilitation: Provide support and guidance to sales  teams and trainers in the use of training materials and tools. Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed to ensure effective delivery

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in instructional design preferred

3 + years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on sales or a related field

Deep understanding of instructional design models, adult learning principles, and best practices in training and development

Proficiency in instructional design and sales training platforms and tools (e.g.,  Rise 360, Workday Learning, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a compelling manner

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Exceptional organizational and project management skills

Additional Details:

This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.

Base compensation range: $78,000-$87,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
