Overview Our internship program is looking for driven individuals interested in exploring a career in sales that is rewarding personally, professionally, and financially. The Gallagher Sales Internship Program is a robust 12 week program offered between May to August and is connected to one of our 10 Gallagher Caribbean offices. The focus will be to gain a well-rounded understanding of the insurance brokerage industry and broad understanding of commercial insurance and commercial sales strategies. We will offer you a comprehensive “learning by doing” experience by including short-term projects and assignments as well as networking and sales challenges. How you'll make an impact The Gallagher Sales Internship Program provides an inside look into the full time role of a producer or consultant. Interns work side by side with Gallagher professionals to experience our “learn by doing” culture through: UnderstandingConsultative Selling: Shadowing Gallagher producers, consultants and underwriting teams as they meet with clients and prospects to gain a better understanding of Gallagher’s sales and marketing process ProfessionalDevelopment: Attending various weekly training engagements to further develop critical qualities of a successful client service and sales professional (i.e. communications, business etiquette, ) BuildingProfessional Acumen: Learning about Gallagher’s Risk Management, Benefits, Wholesale and Claims businesses to gain a better understanding of clients’ needs and opportunities for growth Culture:Adopting Gallagher’s unique culture, the “Gallagher Way” on how to ethically serve our external and internal clientele Beinga Team Player: Assisting in various regional and/or branch projects to support Gallagher’s sales and service initiatives.
