Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Lead to join our merchant services team. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping businesses with their payment processing needs.
As an Inside Sales Lead, you will be responsible for generating new business, closing sales, and training new sales representatives. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to represent the company at industry trade shows, expanding our reach and networking with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
•\tConduct outbound sales calls to prospective merchants to introduce and sell payment processing solutions.
•\tRespond to inbound leads from various marketing channels.
•\tDevelop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers using CRM software.
2. Sales & Customer Acquisition:
•\tUnderstand merchants’ business needs and recommend tailored payment processing solutions.
•\tExplain the benefits of merchant services, including credit card processing, POS systems, and digital payment solutions.
•\tOvercome objections and negotiate pricing to close deals effectively.
3. Training & Mentorship:
•\tAssist in the onboarding and training of new sales representatives, helping them develop their product knowledge and sales techniques.
•\tProvide ongoing coaching, support, and best practices to new team members to ensure their success.
4. Trade Shows & Industry Events:
•\tRepresent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and conferences to generate leads and promote our services.
•\tEngage with potential clients in person, demonstrate our payment solutions, and follow up on leads generated from events.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
•\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage long-term partnerships.
•\tProvide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
•\tWork with account managers to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.
6. Industry & Product Knowledge:
•\tStay up-to-date with payment industry trends, competitor offerings, and compliance requirements.
•\tDevelop a deep understanding of credit card processing, payment gateways, POS systems, and merchant account services.
7. Performance & Reporting:
•\tMeet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
•\tMaintain accurate sales records and pipeline data in CRM systems.
•\tProvide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
•\t3-5 years of inside/outside sales experience in merchant services.
•\tExperience in a high-volume outbound sales environment is a plus.
•\tPrevious experience in training or mentoring sales teams is highly desirable.
Skills & Abilities:
•\tStrong cold calling and prospecting skills.
•\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
•\tAbility to build rapport and close deals over the phone.
•\tComfortable presenting at trade shows and industry events.
•\tFamiliarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
•\tSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Bilingual - English & Spanish is highly desired, but not a requirementExperience Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
