Sales & Logistics Representative
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Sales & Logistics Representative to drive our sales and marketing efforts for cementitious solutions in Washington State.  A successful candidate will provide technical expertise to our customers, grow, and solidify our customer base and create relationships. This role is based in Redmond, WA with travel to sites as required and reports directly to the Area Sales Manager.

What You’ll Get to DoMarketing and selling cementitious products within the above noted regionWorking with operations and logistics team to optimize logistics efficiencies while providing exceptional value for customersPeriodic review of working forecast to optimize logistics and minimize negative impact to customers  Support sales manager in logistic improvement initiativesReviewing bid documents and specifications and preparing bid packages and quotesTargeting and acquiring new accounts and maintaining existing accounts by strengthening customer relationships consistent with an overall market strategyAchieving sales volumes and maximizing prices based on market conditions and company goalsWorking with operations and logistics team to develop a good understanding of logistics efficiencies while providing exceptional value for customersWorking and communicating with inside sales reps and order desk
Essential Experience and SkillsPost-secondary degree in a relevant discipline or 5 years of sales experience in the construction materials industry is advantageousProven track record with at least 3-5 years of high-energy, successful sales and marketing experience.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiation and networking skillsStrong time management and critical thinking skills.Technical knowledge of cement and concrete productsSustainability expertise in building products
