Job Title: Sales Manager, Central Region – ASD Portfolio (Instruments)
Reports To: Sales Director – Central Region (DACH, Eastern Europe)
Location: Home or office based in Germany (with regular travel to Bio-Techne regional offices and customer sites within region as/when required – at least 50%)

Position Objective:
As a Sales Manager, you will represent and lead your Bio-Techne sales team across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, covering the Analytical Solution Division Portfolio of Bio-Techne in EMEA.
You will primarily be responsible for building a collaborative and high performing commercially focused sales team that is driving double digit growth within our Protein Simple product line.
You will spend 80% of your time directly engaged with customer focused activities and engagements that are directly attributable to sales growth and market penetration within your region.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Build and implement sales processes focused on revenue growth and manage the regional sales budget.
Provide accurate sales forecasts for instruments and reagents, using SalesForce to track leads, customers, and opportunities.
Ensuring compliance and buy-in of SalesForce to drive disciplined and structured approaches to all aspects of CRM and opportunity management recording
Champion the use of dashboards to track sales performance and KPIs, using lead metrics to clarify and drive the actions necessary for sales growth
Drive a culture of feedback and development through regular 1-2-1 reviews and team meetings.
Support the corporate product manager plans and translate into regional specific plans that your sales team understand and action at a territory level
Understand and articulate the development needs of your team, guiding them through the sales competency model to improve effectiveness and create succession plans.
Provide your sales team with the tools, guidance, and support they need to succeed and grow.
Embed and promote the EPIC values in all areas of work, maintaining the company’s culture, ethics, and people engagement.
Skills required/desired:
Minimum of five years sales management experience within the life science sector leading a team with a commercial focus and using lead metrics that clearly align to sales growth
Minimum ten years Capital Equipment sales experience in the life science sector
Strong understanding of an effective sales process and the ability to gain buy-in from your team to use it and drive sales effectiveness and sales results
Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead, mentor, develop and performance manage commercially focused employees
You will have the ability to understand the bigger Bio-Techne strategic plan and apply it to drive your sales operations tactics to deliver sales success
You will demonstrate leadership through example, aligned to EPIC values
Existing customer network in the DACH region
Fluent both German & English language skills
