As the Sales Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of a targeted sales strategy aimed at achieving both financial and qualitative goals. You will use your proven ability to build strong relationships across the market and help represent Watts Water Technologies. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, Canada, you will collaborate with Agents, Wholesalers, Contractors, Engineers, and internal partners in departments such as Pricing, Logistics, and Training.
You Will:
Be the voice of the customer, advocating for a customer-centric approach across the organisation.
Develop and execute a national sales strategy and market-specific plans in coordination with agents in key territories.
Oversee daily and long-term sales activities, including customer relations, inventory management, proposal development, pricing strategies, and channel conflict resolution.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, enhancing Watts Water Technologies' reputation and image.
Represent Watts at trade shows and industry events, showcasing our products and engaging with market leaders.
Collaborate across Watts' platforms to share best practices and develop strategies for identifying and managing new business channels.
Drive pricing initiatives by collaborating with product management and providing relevant market intelligence.
Act as a catalyst for success by breaking down internal barriers and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Achieve top-tier customer satisfaction through exceptional training, coaching, and development programs.
Report program performance metrics to leadership on a regular basis and ensure continuous improvement.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the industry and anticipate and resolve practical challenges.
Foster positive and collaborative working relationships with co-workers and internal teams.
You Have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in a sales role with a strong track record of success.
An understanding of the Plumbing Wholesale Channel and the role of Contractors within it.
Relevant product and industry knowledge to support strategic sales initiatives.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including short and long distances.
