For our Italian HQ located in Milan we are looking for a:
Sales Manager – Service Business Area
The METTLER TOLEDO Service Team knows how to satisfy business needs by getting the best from instrumentation and equipment. The customer takes advantage of the experience, skills and thorough know-how of our far-reaching team of thousands of dedicated service specialists all around the world and, much more importantly, in their immediate vicinity. Our service offering ensures optimal equipment uptime, performance, compliance, and the expertise necessary to maximize the investment of the customer.
The candidate will report to the Service Manager who will keep the P&L of the Business Area. The candidate will contribute to continue the expansion of the Service Sales channel within the Italian Market Organization.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the daily business management, including training and coaching programs of the Service Sales Team (field and remote – 6 people).
Primary responsibilities of this position include: Managing the Service Sales team to meet or exceed performance targets (KPI). Driving sales and profitability growth in a fast-evolving, target-focused environment. Working in close cooperation with Service Teams and Business Areas to ensure the highest customer experience.
What You Need to SucceedBachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent related experience At least 2 years of Sales Management (preferably service) in a B2B environment Strong people management skills (engagement, development and coaching activities) Strong customer service and analytical approach Dedication to continuous improvement and fast-learning attitude A self-starter attitude to identify problems and find solutions autonomously Strong ability to interface with other departments and teams in a cooperative way
