Our client, a leader in the the Office Automation and Technology space, is currently looking to employ an experienced Sales Manager to their dynamic team.

This role is based in Port Elizabeth.

The purpose of the Sales Manager is to manage the sales team and the product portfolio within the designated business unit viz.  IT solutions, cloud solutions, PABX, Fibre, LTE, software and office automation solutions.

The Sales Manager will further be responsible for the overall profitability and growth of the business unit.

Requirements:
3 – 5 years work experience in a Sales Manager role. Experience in the ICT industry. Grade 12. Tertiary qualification will be advantageous. Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle. Strong managerial skills. Solid sales track record. Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent negotiating and deal-closing skills. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with others, under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks. Engaging, energetic personality with a positive work ethic and attentive attitude. Ability to quickly adapt to emerging changes in the industry. Well-developed planning, organizing, and time management skills.  
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
Build and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets, and expand our customer base. Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships. Analyze and expand business operations towards sustained development and growth. Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies. Deliver on product strategy. Assist in pricing models based on customer ROI analysis. Develop and maintain customer relationships and strengthen industry partnerships. Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue. Assist the sales team in creating a value proposition for the market. Identify new customers through research and networking opportunities. Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities to increase profitability. Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue. Prepare forecasts and manage pipelines. Identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve market share through the introduction of new lines of business, enhancements to service delivery, and support.
