Sales Manager

Location: San Francisco | Hybrid

Get To Know The Team:

The Sales Manager is a motivated professional who enjoys leading a team of high performing sales reps. They will be responsible for instituting a daily, weekly and monthly operational cadence with their teams to maximize productivity across the territory.

The team will have 5-6 direct reports with anywhere from 5-30 accounts across mid-market, upper market and bulge bracket investment banks. The accounts are global organizations with a deep universe of use cases and thousands of client contacts/personas to engage. The Sales Manager work with the Account Executives and Sr. Account Executive’s, to coach and enable them to cover the territory adequately and build deeper relationships in the field. Additionally, the Sales Manager will maintain a field presence with their reps to help co-sell new opportunities and build deeper relationships.

What You Will Get to Do:

Develop sales strategy across team to gain greater market share that includes proactive research alongside reps.

Run weekly pipeline calls to assist in opportunity management through the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through close in the territory. 

Coach reps both formally through interactive sessions as well as in field presence.

Proficient in leading both in-person and virtual high value customer meetings, product demonstrations and customer presentations. 

Execute a high field presence where applicable to build and maintain long-term relationships.

Articulate and persuade the value of Intralinks solutions can solve, leverage the brand, scale, and market position to place Intralinks as a competitive advantage.  

Expertly handle time to focus on activities that develop the team and grow pipeline/revenue.

Understanding of key buying personas and ability to discuss meaningful business challenges for each. 

Act as a coach and mentor to direct reports and help to fill gaps in skillset.

Contribute to the development of sales strategy through input of ideas and suggestions to senior management team. 

What You Will Bring:

5+ years of quota carrying field sales experience. Track record of consistently exceeding sales activity metrics to achieve success and perennial sales achievement in sales revenue targets. 

Prior managerial experience preferred.

Situational fluent in front of the customer, ready to respond and adapt to what they are saying and to effectively counter objections by differentiating Intralinks solutions and value.  

Able to identify and deliver the “compelling event” for the customer to buy.  

Consistently demonstrates the ability to generate new business and grow existing revenue streams via effective prospecting, opportunity identification, account management and communications skills.  

Ability to work in a dynamic, team environment. 

Strong work ethic, self-motivated and driven. 

Strong interpersonal and follow-up skills.

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions.

California: Salary range for the position: $175,000 plus commission USD to $225,000 plus commission USD. Other States Salary range for the position: $175,000 plus commission USD to $225,000 plus commission USD.
