About the role: 
At Danfoss IXA Denmark, we are now having an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of our global Sales, Marketing and Project team. In this position you will be part of a dedicated international team, responsible for IXA’s further strategic sales and development of our marine exhaust gas emission analyzer products portfolio, with close coordination with R&D, supply chain, service, as well as production.
Our main customers are global leading marine engine makers /designers, shipyards, big ship owners & operators, and after-treatment solution providers. It is vital to keep frequent dialogs with our global customers and participate industrial exhibitions / trade shows /events, therefore a willingness and flexibility to travel is a hard request. You can expect 60-80 travel days annually.
This position will be based either in our Copenhagen office or in Kolding, Denmark, report to the Sales Director.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Identify sales opportunities and market demands, create & follow up sales quotations /orders Proactively build and manage sales pipelines for IXA’s product portfolios, provide qualified sales forecast and sales monthly report Managing the whole Sale management circle, from lead generation to close the deal to order conformation Arrange and conduct customer visits, collect customer feedbacks, provide customer supports  Define sales plans and long-term customer development strategies Bid preparation-- create, and execute winning bid strategies to create competitive bids Project /Contract negotiations and executions Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with global customers Products and growth map is also part of the Sales Manager role to support our engineering team to develop future products and technologies relevant to the future needs within the maritime industry  Prepare and participate in marine trade shows, exhibitions, and events Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

A relevant education (minimum bachelor’s degree or a comparable qualification), sound commercial knowledge and high technical affinity, and a proven solid track record of industrial sales within B2B. At least 5 years’ experience from a similar position, preferably within marine industry.  Knowledge, experience, and network connections with global ship yards, ship owners are an advantage.  Result-oriented and goal- motivated, proactive, and energetic Accountable, reliable, customer centric Independent, structured, analytical and problem-solving mindset  A good team player, with excellent interpersonal communications skills  A good listener, easy-going meanwhile strong in communication and negotiation Great communication, negotiation, and networking skills, experience in international business with different cultures Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English, other languages are an advantage A flair for details without losing overview
