Located in the bustling heart of Chicago, Illinois, our hotel features 403 stylish guest rooms and 12,589 sq ft of versatile meeting space, creating an exceptional environment for both guests and employees. Overview Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Identify target markets, create sales plans, and develop promotional strategies to maximize revenue and reach occupancy goals. Lead Generation and Client Engagement: Identify potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending trade shows; maintain a database of prospective clients and conduct follow-up to generate new bookings. Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, respond to client needs, and ensure customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business. Collaborate with Operations: Work closely with the marketing, front desk, and event management teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services for events and group bookings. Create and Present Sales Proposals: Develop customized proposals and pricing packages for clients, tailoring offerings to meet client needs and close sales effectively. Monitor Market Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and seasonal demand to adjust sales strategies as needed. Achieve Sales Targets and Report Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals, track KPIs, and report on performance metrics to management. Qualifications Typically 3-5 years in sales, preferably within hospitality or a related industry. A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred. Strong negotiation, networking, communication, and presentation skills; proficiency in CRM software and hotel booking systems. Understanding of hospitality industry standards, sales cycles, and seasonal trends. Willingness to travel, work extended hours, and participate in events or trade shows as required. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $70,000.00/Yr. - $95,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
