As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for coaching a team of sellers as you also work to meet the sales goals in your assigned territory. You will also be responsible for hiring and training team members, developing goals, settingtargets, measuring results, managing key accounts, and conducting comprehensive performance assessments. This role will be based onsite and considered as a part of the lead team for the Distribution center.

Builds and executes sales plans to include maintaining working capital efficiency; grows new products; understands costs to serve.Uses knowledge of cost to serve and net delivered margin to consistently drive sales team behavior.Leads and motivates the sales team, accountable for sales team performance, and the growth and development of the team.Owns strategic customer planning and relationship management as well as leads and participates in customer events, promotion, and other customer activities.Is primary point of contact for strategic customer relationships.Actively sells, ensuring sales and profit growth while maintaining customer satisfaction. Partners with operations, logistics, to achieve cost effective solutions for the site.Leads area and local pricing in partnership with Product Managers, provides input as needed and supports the efforts of supply chain management and participates in trade showsProven ability to leverage all sales tools, specifically CRM, to track new opportunities.Excellent communication skills including information sharing, active listening, brevity, and persuasiveness.Successfully collaborates within a team environment; able to work successfully across organizational and functional boundaries.In depth knowledge of residential wood products or building materials products.Thorough understanding of financial levers for driving profitability.Do you have a passion for sales, mentoring, and business development?
