Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy within the specified market scope regional and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite.This role is contributing to the Process Automation – Energy division in the India region.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tAnticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.•\tIdentifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.•\tPlanning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.•\tParticipating in the negotiation of key contracts.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou enjoy working in Project/Solution Front-End Sales for process automation in the Oil & Gas market.\tYou hold a diploma or an engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.\tYou bring 8 to 12 years of experience and expertise in Process Automation within the Project/Solution Sales market.\tYou possess in-depth knowledge of Process Automation systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA.\tYou are passionate about managing customers and stakeholders, with an aggressive, results-oriented approach. You excel in selling both volumes and value.\tYou are proficient in English, both written and verbal.
