How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Sales Manager is responsible for Business development and Account management for the medical device and API markets.

Attain budgeted monthly, quarterly and annual sales dollar targets for assigned territory.
Manage company expenses responsibly.  
Travel within the assigned territory.
Develop new business: working with current customers on new opportunities, working on new business at known accounts and prospecting for new opportunities and applications.
Participate in selected trade shows and exhibitions to prospect for new customers and opportunities and to meet with current customers. 
Work with customer service, ensuring that customer needs are met.
Prepare and submit a monthly sales and activity report to the Sales Director covering sales variance analysis, environmental scanning, new business activity and travel plans.
Prepare and execute an annual strategic territory plan, targeting accounts that generate incremental business.    
Sell value added capabilities, the company’s product-line, drop shipping, R&D capabilities, and cylinder management, in justifying a premium price. 
Develop and maintain strong business relationships at key customers by working with decision-makers at all levels.
Obtain forecast information from key customers to assist in manufacturing efficiency and to ensure that Airgas Therapeutics is prepared for any changes in customer demand.
Follow the tasks and timelines as outlined in the Contract Management procedure to ensure contract renewals and/or price increases are acted upon on time.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment.
Complete all training activities successfully and on time.

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:

Minimum four years of selling experience in a medical or technical sales environment, selling to multiple levels within a customer’s organization.

Proven communication skills, written and oral.

Proven ability to develop strong relationships throughout a customer’s organization, including difficult to reach top decision-makers.

Proven selling and closing skills.

Desire and ability to travel extensively.

Educational Requirements:

Four year college degree, preferably in business or one of the sciences
