We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager with well-developed influencing skills, a strong customer focus and knowledge of the estimating/tendering process. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing customer relationships and developing bid and pricing strategies for relevant tenders, quotations and estimates for the Victorian Asphalt & Products business.

ABOUT YOU

Five plus years experience in the field of sales, negotiations and estimating. Experience in the road surfacing industry is highly regarded, however other building/construction industries also acceptable. Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and increase sales and results. Prior exposure to estimating and tendering process required, with experience in Benchmark software an advantage. Ability to analyse data and draw conclusions to guide future direction. Excellent problem-solving skills to assist with resolving customer issues. Strong reporting skills to ensure opportunity pipeline is well communicated and recorded to enable strong business and investment decision making. Active listening skills together with the ability to establish rapport and build solid business relationships. Flexible with travel across the Melbourne metro area. Excellent verbal and written communication along with proficient presentation skills that demonstrate confidence and conviction. Regular market and competitor activity analysis and research reporting on trends and sales activities.
