Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead & Empower: Manage, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing feedback to ensure peak productivity, efficiency, and success.Drive New Business: Work alongside the General Manager to develop and implement targeted action plans that generate fresh sales leads, turning prospects into long-term clients.Build Strong Relationships: Foster and grow local and global customer connections, consistently demonstrating a customer-centric approach that ensures lasting partnerships.Craft Winning Proposals: Create and deliver compelling proposals and RFP responses, addressing client challenges and showcasing solutions that solve their business problems.Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with other Sales Managers and the Global Account team to promote our comprehensive suite of services across the Lineage network, strengthening our market position.Financial Stewardship: Ensure the timely collection of accounts receivable, maintain detailed records of pricing, sales, and activity, and work to maximize profit margins.Measure & Drive Success: Keep a keen eye on sales performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior management on progress and results.Budget Management: Oversee budgets and expenses, ensuring compliance with company targets and financial guidelines while driving revenue growth.Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate for Efficiency: Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to drive operational efficiencies and meet continuous improvement targets, specifically in sales performance and customer satisfaction.Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Experience: 5+ years of sales and/or sales management experience.Proven Sales Expertise: Strong background in Supplier Relationship Management, including prospecting, selling, and closing new business.Solution-Oriented: Ability to fully understand the company’s service offerings and leverage them to maximize sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to customers.People Leadership: Experience managing, training, and developing sales professionals to achieve top-tier results.Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills to analyze and manage financial aspects of the sales process.Communication Pro: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal teams and external customers.Presentation Skills: Comfortable leading discussions, presenting proposals, and simplifying technical solutions for non-technical audiences.Problem-Solver: Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities, with a talent for overcoming obstacles and turning challenges into opportunities.Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 50% to support sales efforts and customer meetings.Physical Stamina: Comfort working in environments with temperatures ranging from -20°F/-25°C (cold storage) to 100°F/37°C (dry storage), equipped with personal protective gear.Adaptability: Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends if necessary, and thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment.Noise Tolerance: Comfortable in environments with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be quite loud.Pay Range:$108,900.00 - $195,900.00Why Lineage?
