Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective (business area/division/product group) sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.The work model for the role is: {onsite}This role is contributing to the {electrification} in {UAE}. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tBuild business relationships and proactively support partners and internal and external customers. •\tDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and technical knowledge of the customer needs.•\tPrepare and execute sales plans and bids.•\tIdentify and develop new market opportunities in the assigned geographical area and segments. •\tGenerate demand for ABB installation Products through a constant and tailored approach towards consultants, OEM’s and contractors.•\tDevelop the business through the channel partners network identifying qualified opportunities and converting them into sustainable business.•\tCollaborates with the sales team of the other ABB divisions in order to maximize the common business opportunities, furthermore you collaborate with the product marketing team to take into the market the right value proposition bringing back relevant market information.•\tKeeps CRM and all relevant reporting updated and report back to the Marketing & Sales Manager.•\tAble to provide accurate Demand Order and Revenue forecasts •\tIn depth knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM & Navisworks knowledge, reading and understanding architectural layouts, sections and elevations. •\tLive ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for own actions while caring for the colleagues and the business.
Qualifications for the role\tMinimum 8 years of experience in selling installation product portfolio with excellent technical & sales knowledge in Gulf Countries.\tA collaborative, solutions-oriented approach\tWork cohesively with the team to maximize output. \tPassion for solutions and applications.\tComfortable defining pricing positioning.\tElectrical Engineering background.\tWillingness to travel when needed.\tExcellent presentation and communication skills.\tGood organization skills.\tProblem solving and analytical skills.\tComfortable using a CRM system\tGood knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
