Sales Manager
**Salary Range** : $127,500 - $191,300 Annual **Job Details** **Optavise** is hiring a **Sales Manager** to expand and further develop the broker channels in their market and to develop new business through those channels with the Optavise comprehensive suite of services. The Sales Manager will be responsible for effectively and regularly communicating with the leader on business plans, relationship and pipeline development, market dynamics and challenges. This is your opportunity to be a part of selling Optavise solutions through brokers and insurance carrier partners. **As a** **Sales Manager,** **your responsibilities will include:** + Establishing and leveraging relationships with brokers who have clients with 250-5,000 employees. + Utilizing voluntary benefits commissions to offset the cost of Optavise services when appropriate. + Managing the sales process, including prospect generation, qualification, discovery meetings, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and contracting. + Maintaining account and opportunity status in Salesforce for accurate forecasting. + Keeping current on weekly pipeline activity and results. + Collaborating professionally with all Optavise team members, including Account Management, Implementation, Operations, Marketing, and Management. **The Sales Manager position** **is well suited for you if you:** + Have a strong knowledge and ability with history of selling workforce benefits and services. + Develop strong broker/consulting relationships within your geographic area, selling through brokers and consultants. + Can successfully guide prospects through a sales process, including complex discovery. + Possess a consultative selling approach. + Understand and sell to various roles and committee members. + Have excellent planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills. + Hold conceptual, writing, oral, and presentation skills. + Demonstrate high drive, ambition, and empathy. + Can take control of the sales process and tailor solutions to client needs. + Are comfortable teaching clients and sharing business insights to influence decisions. + Can travel 50-75% of the time within your territory. **What you’ll need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration; or eight years of equivalent experience. + Eight years in employee benefit / voluntary benefits sales experience with proven results. + Experience in healthcare, health insurance, benefits administration technology, or benefits field. Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours. All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
