SUMMARY The Sales Manager coordinates and directs daily operations of the Account Representative/Inside Sales department in order to assure that ClarkDietrich's plans are implemented with consistent, reliable and profitable results. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinate and direct daily operations of the department in order to achieve overall goals and objectives. * Monitor and maintain customer service levels to support teamwork and foster customer satisfaction. * Coordinate the effort of inside sales with other departments to facilitate communication channels. * Establish day to day operational procedures of all department employees to assure operation in accordance within ClarkDietrich's policies. * Develop, monitor and promote the achievement of department goals. * Provide proper guidance and feedback for all department employees. * Monitor and report sales levels and activity to appropriate individuals. * Forecasting sales volume. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES * Supervises Account Rep team at one facility QUALIFICATIONS * Experience with commercial construction, the steel industry, company procedures. * Budget/forecasting experience, product knowledge/involvement. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree preferred and at least five years of experience with inside sales * Attendance at both sales and management training/seminars * Preferred -- experience via production rotations * The military equivalent will be recognized in lieu of education and/or experience.
